We kicked off our fund-raising raffle at the Irish Festival at Alexandria’s Waterfront Park. As it was 100+ degrees, the numbers were seriously down on last year but we got off to a great start. Seamus Barry and Pat Cushing carried the color guard flags, accompanied by a very sporting St. Patrick, Terry Riley, who donned the robes despite the searing heat. Thanks to everyone who attended. See you at the meeting on Monday at Murphy’s.
